Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Now’s your chance to own a game-used stick wielded by the Flower, the legendary HOFer Guy Lafleur (inducted 1988), who handled this Chimo in circa 1988-1990 when Guy was patrolling the right side for first the Rangers and then the Quebec Nordiques as his brilliant career was winding down. And a great stick it is too, with a cool curve that helps you try to understand how he managed to get so much velocity on his shots. “Lafleur 10” is stamped on the upper area of the shaft, a shaft which shows great game marks and areas of paint chipping, and both the original black blade tape and white knob tape are fully intact with excellent game markings throughout. It’s an understatement to say this would be a nice addition to your hockey shrine, a gamer from one of the greatest ever, one who bulged the twine 50 or more times in six straight years, with a magnificent 560 goals and 793 assists in 1127 games when all was said and done.
