Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

The great Larry Robinson, who garnered six Stanley Cups as a player and three more as a coach, with a Conn Smythe Trophy and two Norris Trophies included in his amazing resume, used this Koho Revolution in circa 1990, his first of three seasons in L.A. after his fabulous days in Montreal had come to a close. Featuring original black tape on the blade and white on the knob, we know this gamer wasn’t used for just a game or two as marks fill the stick from head to toe. Big Bird was definitely in the thick of things when he wielded this beauty, which has “Robinson” stamped on the upper shaft and a handwritten “19” alongside. Simply an excellent addition to any collection, from a player inducted into the HOF in 1995, and who was one of the greatest Montreal Canadiens defencemen of all time. There weren’t many skaters more talented or tougher than the eastern Ontario farm boy, Larry Robinson.
