Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Chris Chelios' 1988-89 Montreal Canadiens game-worn jersey is from the first of the HOF defenseman's three Norris Trophy seasons and sports the 1989 Stanley Cup Finals patch sewn on the left shoulder. Chelly wore this gamer with the Habs at some point during the 1988-89 season and it was patched for the finals against Calgary, though we are unsure if it was used by him during the six-game loss to the Flames. Maska Ultrafil flag tag sits in the back of the neck and red, white and blue CCM logo is embroidered on the right rear tail. Game wear includes an unrepaired burn hole on the right elbow, board burns on the sleeves and a couple of light marks on the sewn-on triple twill CH crest. Comes with an LOA.
