Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Awesome 1984-85 New York Islanders gamer was worn by defenseman Dave Langevin, who was part of the dynasty that won four straight Stanley Cups and set a playoff record with 19 consecutive series wins before the Isles fell to Wayne Gretzky's Edmonton Oilers in the 1984 Stanley Cup finals. Blue mesh beauty has Pedersons logo embroidered in blue thread on the right rear tail, the only season that occurred. Langevin's number 26 is written in black marker on the Pedersons size XL tagging in the back of the neck. Evidence of a nameplate change is common on this set of Islanders gamers from Langevin's final season on Long Island. Game wear shows in black marks, board burns, paint transfer, unrepaired burn holes and inner pilling. Comes with an LOA.
