Awesome mid- to late-1970s St. Louis Blues game-worn jersey bears the #24 worn by Bernie Federko. The Hall of Fame center wore number 24 throughout each of his 13 seasons wearing the Blue Note beginning with the 1976-77 season. Jim McCrimmon and Garnet "Ace" Bailey both wore #24 for the Blues in 1974-75, and Jamie Masters wore #24 in 1975-76. Rawlings size 50 tagging in the collar has a blue patch sewn on beside it with number 24 embroidered in gold thread. There is evidence of a former nameplate and the fight strap is intact. A new Federko nameplate does not show any wear or puckering. Solid game wear includes 10 team repairs, a board burn with red paint transfer on the left front tail and marks on the numbers on both sleeves. There are two team repairs on the right rear tail, two more on the right sleeve, including one to the right of the number 4, and six on the front tail.
McCrimmon played two games for the Blues in 1974-75 and Bailey played 49 games before he was traded to the Washington Capitals. Masters wore #24 for seven games with the Blues the following season.
The Blues would remove regular season nameplates and recycle the jerseys into the next preseason.
There is a Sports Registry label on the inside of the jersey on the back of the number 1.
