This gorgeous NHL All-Star jersey was worn by Calgary's Kent Nilsson in the 1981 game in Los Angeles. Mr. Magic scored on Minnesota's Don Beaupre 45 seconds into the game to spark the Campbells to a 4-1 win at the Fabulous Forum. Obviously light wear on this orange mesh gamer shows in a black marks on the front tail and on the back of the left sleeve. Gerry Cosby, size 52 and laundry instruction tagging is sewn in the back of the collar and No. 15 is sewn on the back and both sleeves in black and white double twill. Nilsson's surname is spelled out in individual white twill letters sewnd irectly onto the jersey in black thread that provides an outline in the same manner as the small stars on the tails and sleeves. The orange and black NHL logo crest is sewn onto the front and smaller league logos are sewn onto two white stars on either breast, with two more league crests on each shoulder.
Now you know: Kent was the Calgary Flames’ first NHL All-Star Game representative as well as the Atlanta Flames’ last representative one year earlier in Detroit.
