Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Great threesome of Don Scott-made full-size fibreglass replica masks, made to look as authentic as can be with added wear, and which include a classic mid-'70s Ken Dryden Habs example and just an awesome display piece reflecting the HOFer Dryden (ind. 1983) in his prime. We have a Gilles Meloche vintage classic from the fine goalie's days with the Minnesota North Stars beginning in the late-1970s. Meloche spent 8 seasons with the North Stars and would help take his team to the Stanley Cup Finals in 1981. And lastly a Phil Myre Atlanta Flames replica with one snap button missing from the side. Handwritten inside the Myre example is "Don Scott 2009". Myre, originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, would spend 6 seasons in Atlanta in the 1970s before moving on to the Blues. Definitely 3 great showcase pieces.
