Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
An intriguing piece for a goalie mask collection is this vintage 1960s fiberglass model with various paint jobs visible on it. Most likely a homemade mask, the fiberglass shell is clear to see on the inside which has no padding present. A yellow paint job with some orange flecks has chips that display a red paint job underneath the surface, which has plenty of crazing throughout. This rudimentary and very distinctive looking piece with paint on its thin elastic straps is certain to get people talking about your goalie mask display.
