Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Nice game-used stick from legendary puck stopper and HOFer Patrick Roy (inducted 2006), used in the early-2000s when St. Patrick was getting it done with the Colorado Avalanche. This Koho gamer features Patrick's original white tape on the blade and black and white on the knob, along with black tape where the paddle meets the shaft. Nice game marks are seen from head to toe, and as a capper, Patrick has signed the paddle in clear black marker. Just a great gamer from one of the finest netminders in the history of the game, who would have his number "33" retired by both the Habs and Avs, and one who would be between the pipes when the Avs won it all in 2001. Also included is an LOA certifying Patrick's signature.
