Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Hall of Fame goalie Vladislav Tretiak used this Koho gamer during the U.S.S.R. national team's 1982-83 Super Series game against the Quebec Nordiques. Tretiak recorded a shutout in the Soviets' 3-0 win at le Colisee on December 30, 1982, then exchanged sticks with Nordiques goalie Dan Bouchard. Game-used Koho stick with "Tretiak" stamped on the shaft has remained in the Bouchard family ever since. It retains Vladislav's tape job on the blade, which has loosened strands on the back at the toe, and on the knob, which is unfurled and missing some tape. Good chunk of the top edge of the heel is missing and more wear shows in red goalpost paint transfer on the paddle. Comes with an LOA from the Bouchard family.
