Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

It was as tense as can be, game 2 of the legendary 1972 Summit Series, with fans on both sides of the pond wondering how things would unfold after the Soviets had shocked much of the hockey world with their stunning 7-3 win in game 1 at the Montreal Forum 2 days prior. Led by Tony Esposito in goal and with a brilliant shorthanded marker by Peter Mahovlich, Team Canada would even the series with a 4-1 win and provided momentary relief for Canadian players and fans. We've got a pair of ticket stubs from that huge game at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens, both graded by PSA as authentic, with one, from Sec. 69, Row E, Sear 4 showing some slight yellowing and several creases, while the other, Sec 49, Row D Seat 8, having reddish stains and two sets of staple holes. A great chance to own historic ducats.
