Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
Considered one of the best goalies not in the Hockey Hall of Fame, Lorne Chabot had backstopped the Rangers (1927-28) and Maple Leafs (’31-32) to Stanley Cup triumphs when he first appeared on hockey cards during the ’33-34 campaign, his one and only with the Montreal Canadiens. Chabot is pictured in his Maple Leafs uniform on this example of his Anonymous #45 rookie card, judged by PSA as Good+ 2.5, a POP-1 from only 9 in total that PSA has ever seen.
