From a time when lacrosse was Canada’s national sport (it’s now considered the country’s national (summer) sport, come these 100-plus year old treasures, highlighted by the presence of Hockey Hall of Famer and famous Quebec Bulldog goaltender Paddy Moran, depicted in his National de Quebec red and white sweater. Nice presentable crease-free VG-VG+ card has corner wear and a touch of edge chipping but displays quite well, as do the majority of the rest. We count a dozen that fall into the VG+ and VG-EX grades, (#s 3, 4, 9, 29, 31, 32, 39, 61, 79, 83, 91 and 94 (2)), with another (16) at VG due to a light crease and/or corner wear. A half-dozen are G, with just three low grade P-F examples. Featuring men who represented teams in Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Ottawa, Cornwall, Vancouver and New Westminster, these relics are swell pieces of Canadiana.
