Nice Bones Allen #38 card from the old 1910 Imperial Tobacco C59 set, slabbed by PSA as EX-MT 6, a Pop-3 with just 1 graded higher. Only 12.38% of the 1,066 cards from that set submitted to PSA received PSA 6 grading, in the top 16.6% of all cards submitted from that set. Angus “Bones” Allan is a member of the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame and had 10 goals and 15 PIMs in 11 games with the Vancouver Lacrosse Club the previous 1910 season, best on the team. Bones also played some pro hockey including FAHL Ottawa Hockey Club in 1904-05 when they won the Stanley Cup, but in those days professional lacrosse was better paying that ice hockey and he followed his lacrosse career. He did play one more season of ice hockey for the Cornwall Hockey Club in 1908-09 in the FAHL.
