Ernie Butterworth’s #22 rookie card from the 1910 Imperial Tobacco C59 lacrosse set is a Pop-2 highest graded, with PSA giving it an EX-MT 6 grading. Only 12.38% of the 1,066 cards from that set submitted to PSA received PSA 6 grading, in the top 16.6% of all cards submitted from that set. Butterworth, a member of the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame for lacrosse, had 15 PIMs in 5 games with the Capitals the previous 1910 season and was a member of the Ottawa Capitals when they won the world's lacrosse title in 1906. The talented fellow also played hockey for CAHL Ottawa in 1902 and FAHL Ottawa in 1904, coached and refereed in both lacrosse and hockey, and was one of the two officials in the famous Dawson City-Ottawa Silver Seven Stanley Cup series.
