Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

A Maple Crispette card deemed worthy of almost unheard-of NM 7 recognition is what this tantalizing example of Carson Cooper’s rookie card merited from the PSA firm, with the grading experts only ever awarding the "7" mark to five other Maple Crispette cards, (all players combined – 445 cards as of this writing), with a single NM-MT 8 (#24-Ken Randall) showing up on the PSA Population Report. In company history, 14 Cooper cards have been encapsulated, with this treasure easily distancing a single EX 5 and five VG-EX 4s. Cooper was indeed an NHL rookie in 1924-25 and later played for the Canadians, Detroit Cougars and Falcons, before scouting for the Red Wings. It’ll be a coup to secure this “Coop”!
