Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

Jake the Snake has penned his name on a 2 ½” x 4” cut that’s been nicely set into a matte below a delightful 9” x 12” photo of the HOFer happily embracing one of his six Stanley Cups garnered during his legendary days with the Habs. Looking absolutely magnificent mounted in the gold-colored wood frame with black matte, Jacques’ signature is clear and clean on the cut which has a tint of yellowing on it. Just an awesome display honoring the man who strapped them on for 837 regular season games, 112 playoff games, introduced the mask at a time when it wasn’t a popular move, has his number “1” jersey retired by the Montreal Canadiens, and was so deserving of his induction into the HOF in 1978.
