Stop the presses! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A program from the 1934 Ace Bailey Benefit Game is a very rare find on its own, but this one is team-signed by 17, with Howie Morenz, Chuck Gardiner, Lionel Conacher and Lester Patrick among the 11 deceased HOFers who have signed! Nels Stewart has also signed and so have fellow HOFers Herbie Lewis, Ching Johnson, Hooley Smith, Red Dutton and Bill Cook, as well as Eddie Shore, the central figure in the drama that brought about this remarkable game, what is considered to be the first NHL All-Star Game, played at Maple Leaf Gardens on Valentine's Day 1934. There are 17 bold autographs on the cover in a variety of inks with Jimmy Ward, Larry Aurie, Normie Himes, Allen Shields and Frank Finnigan making it 16 members of the NHL All-Stars, with only Aurele Joliat missing and one unidentified autograph on the top left above Patrick's fountain pen signature. The program is complete and measures a shade under 10" x 7" with a few tears on the cover spine, and otherwise wonderfully preserved with handling. Step up and give it your best shot because a chance like this may never come along again!
