Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

It was a great time for Boston Bruins fans. Their team would win the Stanley Cup in 1972 and Bobby Orr would be presented with the Conn Smythe Trophy after notching 4 goals 4 assists in the march that saw the Beantowners do away with the New York Rnagers in 6 games. We’ve got some cool stuff from that ’72 Cup Finals, including 2 unused tickets and 2 ticket stubs for game 4 at Madison Square Garden, a game won by the Bruins 3-2, plus a 1972 Stanley Cup press pin in its original Balfour box. Only one faint crease runs through one of the unused full tickets (which measure 1 ¾” x 5 ½"), and the 2 ticket stubs are also in really nice condition and measure just over 2” long. The press pin, in the shape of the Cup, measures 2" in length and aside from some slight scuffing and miniscule flaking at the base, remains in great shape, as is the original box.
