This should keep you in quality reading material for a while, with 33 classic magazines including 13 Blueline magazines for the the 1950s, with all but one, the 1956 Tod Sloan cover, featuring the hockey artwork of the legendary Tex Coulter on the cover. These 13 are in generally great shape with just a few with condition issues – the 1956 Tod Sloan cover has some wear on it; the 1957 Gump cover has a crease running down; the 1958 McKenney cover has some strands of tape on the spine; the 1958 Gadsby cover has some yellowing; and the 1959 Bathgate cover has a small cover tear. Also in the magazine lot is a 1951 Boston Red Sox yearbook (the Red Sox’ first yearbook), in nice condition with some cover scuffing, plus a 1953 Chicago Cubs yearbook in sensational condition. A total of 5 Hockey Illustrated mags in nice condition are up next, including issues from 1962 (Plante cover), 1964 (Pocket Rocket cover), 1965 (Bobby Hull cover), 1967 (Rousseau cover) with a picture cut out inside, and a 1970 (Orr cover) with a crease down the front cover. Also in this huge mix are 13 miscellaneous magazines – a 1956 “Football”, a 1949 “Sports Pix”, a 1958 “Baseball”, 1951 “Sports Stars”, and 4 “Sport Life” mags from 1948, 1949 (2) and 1951. Rounding things out in no particular order is a 1967 “Hockey World”, a 1950 “Sports Album”, a 1953 “Sports Stars”, a 1958 “Basketball”, and a 1957 “Boxing and Wrestling”. All are in good condition with normal wear and handling, with pages looking to be complete and intact.
