From Peter Lee's final season in the NHL is this game-worn Pittsburgh Penguins jersey the slick forward wore during the '82-83 campaign before heading overseas to continue his playing days in Germany. The collar tags have been washed out but is measured to approximately a size 50, and we see an abundance of game wear on this classic Pens jersey, including at least 14 team repairs and numerous marks and board burns scattered about the front and sleeves. This gamer also features the loop style fight strap, screened-on "Sandow SK" logo on the hem, and on the left sleeve is a screened-on black armband in memory of Pens GM Baz Bastien who was killed in a car accident in the spring of 1983. Team repairs are found below the collar, with another just below the screened-on crest. Five more team repairs are on the left sleeve and scattered board burns around the elbow with visible washed out stick marks, while at least seven more repairs are on the right sleeve with two more near the cuff, along with more board burns. Another repair is next to the number on the right shoulder and on the hem above the “Sandow SK” logo. Lee’s name is screened onto a sewn-on nameplate on the back.
