Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/17/2014
It’s all Mr. Hockey here including a terrific 1991 Prosport Creations 9-inch porcelain figurine of Gordie in his Red Wings uniform, complete with a 5" x 8” porcelain stand with a label on the bottom from Prosport stating the piece was approved by Gordie Howe, sanctioned by the National Hockey League, and limited to 2172 pieces with the total representing the year Howe was inducted into the HOF plus 200 proofs. This particular Howe example is figure number “171”. Gordie has signed the front of the stand in clear blue marker, and the figurine itself is in great and unflawed condition with a mini stick for Gordie to hold onto and an accompanying COA. Comes in its original Prosport box with original price marked on, with condition showing a few dings to the edges of the box but in nice overall shape. We also have a Howe lithograph from Quaker State measuring 9” x 11 ½” (with some slight creasing), nicely signed in blue by Gordie and accompanied by a COA, plus two Red Wings pucks signed by Gordie, with one from Upper Deck which comes in its UD box with an UD hologram COA, with Howe’s sig in clear blue marker, and a Wings puck signed in gold marker as “Gordon Howe HOF 1972”. Rounding things out is an unsigned and unused ball cap with an embroidered “Gordie Howe Traverse City”, with two crossed sticks.
