Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2014

How many pucks boomed off boards, bulged twines, and scared the daylights out of goalies from this game-used Bernie Geoffrion stick wielded by the great HOF (ind. 1972, dec. 2006) during the mid to late-1950s when he and his Les Glorieux teammates were in the beginning or in the midst of 5 straight Stanley Cups. Featuring Boomer's original black tape on the blade and knob (the knob tape is loose), this "CCM Professional" gamer has marks scattered from the heel upwards along the darkened shaft which is stamped on the upper part with "Custom Made For Geoffrion 5". Another stamp nearby reads as "Supplied by Raymond Hardware LTD. Sporting Goods". Just a great stick from a dynamic player in an important era. Awesome.
