Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
The CH logo is front and center on the tableau of this 10-karat gold team ring attributed to the 1975-76 Montreal Juniors. The QMJHL team originally known as the Montreal Junior Canadiens from 1933 to 1972 went by that name for the first time that season. The tableau displays the CH logo in relief with "Juniors" stamped along the bottom of the C. The right shank displays "75 76" for the team's inaugural season and number "8", which was worn by Frank Donnelly in 1975-76, is displayed on the left shank. Proud wear shows in a couple of dings and rounded edges on the bottom of the octagonal tableau and lots of surface scratches and scuffs that do not diminish this distinctive gold bauble's display. The ring weighs approximately 22 grams with “10K” stamped inside the size 9 band.
