1991 was the Pittsburgh Penguins' first Cup Final and ultimately their first Stanley Cup victory, led by the amazing Mario Lemieux, who would help the cause big-time by recording 12 points in 5 games to win the Conn Smythe Trophy as he and his Pens took out the Minnesota North Stars in six games to capture the big prize. Offered is a salesman's sample Mario Lemieux 10K gold Stanley Cup ring, size 10 1/2, with a weight of about 30 grams. The Penguins logo is on the tableau of the ring, embedded in zirconia, and encircled by "Stanley Cup Champions 1991". One shank features the raised "Pittsburgh Penguins" framing an image of the Prince of Wales Trophy and words "Patrick Div., and Wales Con." The other shank features "Lemieux 66" framing the raised Stanley Cup. Engraved on the inside is "Property of Jostens, Not for sale", along with the coded numbers. This absolutely stunning salesman's sample Cup ring is in wonderful condition, and comes with an LOA from Classic Auctions.
