Incredible find is the first thought that comes to mind when you look at this 1985-86 New Westminster Bruins game-worn WHL jersey worn by highly regarded and feared ex-NHL tough guy Todd Ewen. This gamer features unrepaired holes on both sleeves and on the front and back of the jersey, with puckering on the team's crest and back and sleeve numbers. In 3 seasons with the WHL's New Westminster Bruins, Todd played 201 games in total, garnering himself 119 points and spending 844 minutes in the penalty box. This shirt is beat up exactly how you would expect one of his shirts to be and is a true treasure for collectors of defunct teams, powerhouse WHL teams, tough guy garments, or gamers with tons of game-wear. He was voted the Bruins "Most Popular Player" in 1986-87. After being selected 168th overall in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers he went on to play in 12 NHL seasons for the St. Louis Blues, Montreal Canadiens, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and finally the San Jose Sharks. During those 12 seasons Todd established himself as one of the true heavyweights of the NHL, ending up with over 1900 minutes in penalties.
