Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Great pair of signed Pittsburgh Penguins game-used sticks were wielded by Jordan Staal and All-Star defenseman Sergei Gonchar. Jordan scored 120 goals through his first six seasons with the Penguins, who drafted him second overall in 2006. Staal’s Bauer Total One gamer has his surname printed on the shaft and retains his original tape job on the knob. Jordan’s tape job was removed from the blade, which is cracked on the bottom edge and displays Staal’s bold silver paint pen autograph across the front. Gonchar, who represented the Penguins in his fourth All-Star Game in 2008, has signed in bold black marker across the front of his white tape job on the blade of his Bauer One 95 gamer which also retains his tape job on the knob.
