Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Three NHL players' practice jerseys are up for bid here, beginning with centreman Jim Montgomery's circa 2000-01 San Jose Sharks CCM Center Ice practice jersey, tagged in the collar as size 56. Jersey shows a scattering of marks throughout, with substantial red paint transfer on the right sleeve. Sewn in the hem are "CCM" and "56" patches. Next up is right winger Todd Harvey's mid-1990s Dallas Stars practice jersey, signed on the back numbers in black marker by Harvey. Marks are noticeable on the front crest, and are also on parts of the black areas but naturally are more difficult to see. Some dandy board burns are also on the right sleeve. Last but not least is goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere's 2000-01 AHL Cincinnati Mighty Ducks practice jersey, tagged in the collar as a size 56G and has a "Bauer" label sewn in the collar with "37" handwritten on it. The second "3" of "33" on sleeves and back have had a number change from what we assume was a number 7 as per the handwritten "37" on the Bauer tag in the collar. The changed numbers look to be original team numbers and are properly sewn on. The back of the jersey also shows evidence of a former nameplate. This Giguere practice jersey has a handful of marks scattered about the front, with a touch more on the right sleeve. Three nice practice jerseys from three former NHLers.
