Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
For left winger Reid Simpson it was a 12-year career in the bigs, with stops at nine different NHL cities, including Pittsburgh, where he wore this game-used Koho either in one or both games he suited up for the Pens that season, or more likely in pre-season/training camp. Tagged in the collar as a size 56, with "33" handwritten above the size, this gamer exhibits a lot of wear and has a repaired collar and shows markings on both sleeves and on the front and back, along with two unrepaired holes and some blue paint transfer on the right sleeve. Pilling is also noticeable on the front of this gamer. Also to note is a loose thread on the fight strap, probably used to adjust the strap at one time.
