Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
In the Canadiens' ongoing 2009-10 Centennial celebrations, one of the retro jerseys recreated was that of the inaugural 1909-10 team, the blue and white beauty with the big "C" on the front. Offered is the game-issued Set 1 jersey prepared for big d-man Ryan O'Byrne for the February 13, 2010 game against the Philadelphia Flyers. This gorgeous Centennial jersey, tagged as a size 58, has a handwriiten "1" in the collar and features the "1909-2009" Centennial patch on the right sleeve. It also has the Habs "2009-10 Authentique" patch sewn in the inside tail, with the serial number matching the accompanying Canadiens LOA signed by Head Equipment Manager Pierre Gervais. A hologram sticker is on the back number, with the number also matching the hologram on the LOA. This game-issued Ryan O'Byrne Centennial jersey comes in its original box from the Montreal Canadiens.
