Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
From the early-1970s when the Buffalo Sabres joined the NHL come two game-used Sabres’ equipment bags, one canvas and the other vinyl, and both with all kinds of game-use being evident. The blue canvas equipment bag has the screened yellow and blue Sabres logo on each side with yellow number “1’s” on each side as well. The bag shows lots of wear and use but remains in good condition with only dirt and some material damage in various places to note, with the zipper remaining functional. “Bomber” is handwritten in black marker down one strap. The blue and white vinyl Sabres game-used equipment bag has the yellow Sabres logo screened on each side and number “34” screened at each end. Aside from dirt marks and obvious signs of use, this bag remains in very good condition with one part of the zipper working well while and other part needs some lubrication of sorts.
