Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

The Golden Jet’s distinctive custom-shaved handle sits under Bobby Hull’s original tape job on the knob of his CCM Custom Pro game-used stick. This Hull beauty from the late-1960s/early-1970s dates from the latter stages of his superstar career with the Chicago Black Hawks. It comes with a letter of provenance which states that it was given by Hull to the uncle of his teammate, the late Pit Martin. Bobby’s tape job remains on the blade with a couple of nicks along the top edge. “Browns Sports” with its Yonge Street, Toronto address is stamped on the front of the shaft. There is a bit of writing on the shaft, possibly a child’s, which does not diminish this coveted stick’s display.
