Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Islanders goaltender Kevin Poulin spent part of the 2012-13 season with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL, and then was called up to the New York Islanders where he played 5 games as a backup to starter Evgeni Nabokov. Offered is Poulin's game-worn catching glove, a type he had also worn during the 2011-12 season when he had also divided his time between Bridgeport and Long Island. This gamer was purchased at the 2013 Fleury-Talbot Golf Tournament and was described as an Islanders game-worn glove, leading us to believe it was probably during his five-game stint in 2012-13 that he wore this. This orange, blue, and white catching glove has "Poulin" embroidered on it, and shows lots of game wear from grabbing those 90 mph missiles fired from enemy snipers. To cap it off, Poulin has signed the cuff with black marker. A nice gamer from a young fellow only beginning to embark on his NHL career.
