Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

It's a trio of game-worn goalie items, beginning with a nice set of Brian Hayward's early-1990s San Jose Sharks goalie pads showing excellent game-wear from all the pucks that bounced off these beauties and the hundreds of times a game they slammed and slid on the ice. The set of black and white Vaughn "Legacy" pads have the name "Hayward" embroidered on the side of each, with pads showing major scuffing and marks from top to bottom. Kelly Hrudey's late-1990s San Jose Sharks game-worn blocker is next, with this Shark team-coloured gamer showing all kinds of game-use. Countless pucks have been turned aside by this "Bauer Reactor" blocker which has "Kelly Hrudey" embroidered on the blocker glove which has approximately an inch of the palm leather stitching come apart. Also included is goaltender Johan Hedberg's game-worn Vaughn catching mitt most likely used in circa 1999-00 with the AHL Kentucky Thoroughblades (San Jose farm team). Hedberg's name is embroidered on the side, and this gamer shows wonderful game-use, with marks littered throughout and the outside "Vaughn" name beginning to fade from a heavy workload. Wonderful game-worn equipment from three terrific goaltenders.
