Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
A Coyotes draft pick, goaltender Robert Esche would mind the nets for Phoenix beginning in 1998 and would remain in the desert until the end of the 2001-02 season, after which the Utica N.Y. native would depart for the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. Esche's final season in Phoenix would see him don this game-used Koho jersey, one that shows red paint transfer on the back numbers and marks on the upper front and on the Coyotes team crest. Several holes are also noticeable on the front of the jersey and there is some pilling in the collar area. Tagging in the collar includes a size 58 along with a tag stating it's a Goalie-Style. Sewn in the hem is "Official 2001/02-2 Game-Worn Jersey".
