The NHL's all-time leader in shutouts, goalie wins and games played, Martin Brodeur has signed in black marker on the thumb side of the pocket of his late-1990s Heaton Helite-IV game-worn trapper glove. Brodeur wore this model in 1997-98, when he recorded 10 shutouts and was named to the NHL Second All-Star Team for the second season in a row, and in 1998-99, when he played in his fourth straight All-Star Game. Marty's full name is embroidered in black thread on the back side of the cheater and a nicely detailed Brodeur 30 Devils logo embroidered in red, black and white thread on the back of the cuff. Solid game wear with lots of black marks in the pocket and on the cheater, and nice wear to the leather at the top edge of the webbing. Heaton flag tag on the outside egde of the thumb side of the cheater reads, “Game Tested, Custom Crafted, Unparalleled Goaltending Equipment” on one side, the same in French on the other.
Rubbery plastic Heaton Helite H IV logo patch insert is sewn inside the back side of the cuff.
The Heaton logo screened on the leather in the middle of the webbing is flaked in spots. The Heaton logo is also screened in red on the white fabric on the back side of the pocket.
Helite-IV is embroidered on the white fabric on the back side of the webbing.
“Warning” and “New Material” flag tags remain inside the cuff.
