Flyer legends Bernie Parent and Bobby Clarke are among the 26 Philadelphia hockey greats who have signed goalie Mark LaForest's 2012 Winter Classic game-worn jersey from the alumni game against the Rangers oldtimers. LaForest took over for Parent early in the December 31, 2012 outdoor game at Citizens Bank Park, a 3-1 win for the Flyers alumni. This is the jersey LaForest was wearing throughout the third period, as per the MeiGray population report. Parent, Clarke and fellow HOFer Mark Howe have signed in black marker on the numbers on the back along with the likes of Propp, Hextall, Desjardins, Linseman, Marsh, among others. Goalie style and size 58 flag tags sit in the back of the neck and the late Brad McCrimmon's number 10 is embroidered on the left sleeve. Comes with LaForest's signed LOA. NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2011-2012 Season registry patch is sewn inside the rear tail. LaForest was only issued one other jersey, which he wore in the first two periods and it was retained by Flyers and the MeiGray Group, according to their population report.
There is a small black marker mark to the left of the numbers on the back of the jersey and another one below the right side of the collar on the upper back.
