Awesome silver paint pen signature on the lining inside this jacket says it all: "Olympic Gold 2002 Salt Lake City, Kim St-Pierre 33". The three-time Olympic champion won the first of her three gold medals in 2002 when she backstopped the Canadian women's team to a 3-2 win over the United States in the final. Hockey Canada logo is embroidered on the left breast of Kim's 2002 Nike team jacket with black leather sleeves. Kim's number "33" is written in black marker on the Nike 02 tagging in the back of the neck which has "Made in Canada" and size "L" flag tags. Kim has also signed each of a pair of her game-used sticks, the same models that she used at the 2006 and 2010 Olympics, respectively. St-Pierre has signed in bold blue marker on the heel of her Sher-Wood 9950 gamer with “Canada” graphics on the paddle, the model of stick that she used at the 2006 Olympics in Turin, though not exclusively there. “St Pierre” is printed on the front of the shaft and Kim’s original tape jobs remain on the knob, handle and blade. Loads of game use shows in black marks all over the shaft and paddle, which has a few chips on the top edge, as well as on the white tape job on the blade.
St-Pierre has signed in black marker on the heel of circa late-2000s black and grey Sher-Wood RM 19 gamer which retains her original tape jobs on the knob, handle and blade. Nice game use with black marks all over the red tape job on the blade and paint chips and red goalpost paint transfer on the paddle.
