Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Dandy depictions of Montreal Canadiens players grace these 6-inch square ceramic tiles, with a chance to score nine at once a rather infrequent occurrence. In difficult-to-expect-nicer condition are tiles of Tom Johnson, J.C. Tremblay and Red Berenson, with Claude Provost and Ralph Backstrom just a tad behind with slight imperfections. Also with their original cork backings present but with a touch of soiling are tiles of Gilles Tremblay, Phil Goyette and, with a small ink mark, Jean-Guy Talbot. Jean Gauthier's tile displays similarly but with damage to the cork backing. Six are in original boxes with names written twice on each. Without boxes are J.C. Tremblay, Talbot and Gauthier. Cool collectibles!
