Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Oh, to be able to spin back in time, get a piece of gum and a 1936-37 O-Pee-Chee die-cut card for one cent and then send in five wrappers and five cents to get the neat hockey game offered here! The colorful game board is a three-tier, spin-style game, with the Maple Leafs, Canadiens and Maroons mentioned. Some creases are mostly limited to the bottom section, approximately 9" square. The wrapper meanwhile is also bilingual and advertises the cards as "a stand-up action picture" while also mentioning the game offer and the 36 cards in the set. Multiple light creases and small holes to report, but contributing to a dandy duo! [red] Addendum; the game which originally featured a blue border on all edges is trimmed-off.[/red]
