Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
A nice mixture of game-used and signed sticks are offered, beginning with a game-used Jose Theodore Canadiens goaltender stick, signed on the blade tape "to mon coach Gaston, merci pour tout, Jose Theodore 60". This Sher-Wood has a stamped "Theodore 60" on the shaft, with white tape on both the blade and knob, and with a few inches of blue over white tape near the paddle. The stick shows plenty of game-wear, with numerous marks on the blade and along the shaft. To note is a small chip out of the wood near the blade. Another goalie stick is next, with this being a Patrick Roy store model endorsed white Koho wonderfully signed in large black marker on the blade by Patrick Roy, who has also added his number 33. The stick, although unused, has some black and blue marks scattered about. The third stick on the agenda is an unused, untaped wood Sher-Wood 5030 post-career stick, with a stamped "Lafleur 10" on the shaft, and a lovely Guy Lafleur autograph signed with black marker on the blade. Next is a Mario Lemieux wood store model endorsed Koho Revolution and signed in black marker by "Mario Lemieux 66". To follow is a wood Sher-Wood store stick, signed on the blade "Maurice Richard 9". Rounding things out is a Vincent Damphousse game-used Canadiens Sher-Wood stick with original tape on the blade and knob. Damphousse has signed the blade but the signature has mostly worn off. This gamer shows excellent game wear, with many pucks marks on the blade and up the shaft. Just a great collection of sticks from six great players, four of which are members of the Hall of Fame.
