Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Two framed and beautiful images of the great game are offered, beginning with a signed and framed black and white photo of the legendary Maurice "Rocket" Richard embracing the Stanley Cup in the spring of 1960, his team's fifth straight championship, and Rocket's last as he would retire soon after. Measuring 14" x 16" fully framed, with the picture itself measuring 8" x 10", this classic image of a happy and emotional Richard is signed by the great man in gold marker. An iconic photo of an iconic man basking in triumph. Also included is a lithograph of two boys with dog in tow, hoping to join an outdoor hockey game on a winter day, signed by HOFers Bobby Hull, Johnny Bower, Jean Beliveau, Guy Lafleur, and Maurice Richard. Created by W. Burden in 1997 and titled "Let's Ask", this wonderful and heartwarming image measures 18" x 18 3/4" fully-framed, while the print itself is approximately 8.5" x 9".
