This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
Lot features a total of 27 pieces bearing signatures of Montreal Canadiens greats Maurice and Henri Richard and Jean Beliveau. A complete 1974-75 Montreal Forum calendar is also included here along with a framed limited edition Maurice Richard portrait by artist Bernard Pelletier. Maurice and Henri Richard dedicated their signatures respectively on eight 8x10 photos of themselves with the Stanley Cup, the Rocket's four photos in color and Henri's four in black-and-white. The Rocket has dedicated his signature on a 1995 photo in Las Vegas. Beliveau dedicated his signature at the bottom of his NHL All-Stars 14" x 11" litho and signed across his Canada Post stamp featuring the same artwork. The Richards' signatures appear on a total of 16 Habs Cup champion team photos on paper stock, displaying images reproduced like photocopies. The Rocket dedicated his blue marker signature on each of four 11x14 black-and-white photocopies of the 1945-46 champs. Maurice and Henri both placed blue Sharpie signatures on each of three 11x17 color copies of the 1959-60 champs. Both Richards dedicated their signatures on 9 more 11x17 color copies, 3 of the 1956 champs, and six of the 1958 team photo. The framed Richard portrait is displayed in a 31" x 24" black frame that features the artist's reproduction of the Rocket's signature. The limited edition Rocket print is numbered "612/999" and measures 24 1/2" x 17 3/4", tastefully displayed with a light brown matte with tan accents. The Rocket is featured in five Canada Post six-stamp sets from the 50th NHL All-Star Game and a trio of his iconic images are featured in three modern 8x10 photo negatives reproduced from original pictures. A 2008-09 Maurice Richard calendar rounds out the lot.
