An amazing batch of 8 Montreal Canadiens HOFers make up this 3" x 5" signed card lot, so take a deep breath and prepare to be amazed. Legendary HOF figures who've signed on lined cards include deceased HOFers Newsy Lalonde, Frank J. Selke, Aurele Joliat, Herb Gardiner, Sylvio Mantha, and Joe Malone, while on plain cards comes a signature from deceased Canadiens owner Hartland Molson and the incomparable Jean Beliveau. What a collection of Habs legends. Newsy Lalonde (inducted 1950, deceased 1970) has signed his card “Oct. 31/67, My birthday today, Just 80 years of age. “Newsy” Edward Lalonde”. Aurele Joliat (inducted 1967, deceased 1986), has signed “Aurele Joliat NHLeague, CHClub – 1921-1938”. Frank J. Selke (inducted 1960, deceased 1985), has written “Frank J. Selke, Chairman Selection Committee, Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibition Park, Toronto Ontario”. Herb Gardiner (inducted 1958, deceased 1972), has signed as “Herb Gardiner, Montreal Canadiens (Defense) 1925-26-27-28”. Sylvio Mantha (inducted 1960, deceased 1974) has written in French “Honneur au merite plein success dans cette entreprises, Sylvio Mantha 1923-1937”. Joe Malone (inducted 1950, deceased 1969) has signed as “Joe Malone, Member of Hockey Hall of Fame”. Hartland Molson (inducted 1973, deceased 2002) has signed “Best Wishes Hartland Molson”, while Jean Beliveau, inducted into the HOF in 1972 and still with us, has signed “Jean Beliveau”. Six of the seven cards are signed in blue ink, while Frank Selke signed in black.
