Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

The legendary "Kraut Line" of Milt Schmidt, Woody Dumart and Bobby Bauer were the NHL's dominant trio in the pre-war era, leading the Boston Bruins to Stanley Cup wins in 1938-39 and 1940-41, and finishing 1-2-3 in League scoring in 1939-40. At the peak of their careers, all three enlisted in the Canadian Air Force in 1942, giving up the next three years to the war effort. The line was then broken up by Bobby Bauer's retirement in 1947, but five years later, on March 18, 1952, Bauer returned to the ice for a one game reunion on a night honoring his former line mates, impressively scoring a goal and setting up Schmidt for his 200th in a win over the Chicago Black Hawks. This complete program from that dramatic evening is in sharp EX condition, and includes the game night insert.
