Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/5/2013
The magic touch of the greatest scorer in hockey history graced this Wayne Gretzky Los Angeles Kings Easton game-worn glove from the 1993-94 season. The Great One won his record 10th and final Art Ross Trophy with a league-leading 130 points, including 38 goals and an amazing 92 assists. The notation "93/94" handwritten inside the cuff matches the writing of Kings trainer Peter Millar as it appears in other Gretzky gloves of that era. Wayne's iconic number 99 is displayed on the front of this left glove, an Easton GX9500 in black, white and silver Kings colors with nice wear on the hole-free palm. Scuffs and scrapes testify to its game use by the one and only Wayne Gretzky.
