Talk about making the ladies swoon. The Montreal Canadiens players, coaches, management and scouts were issued these classy black sports jackets with the nice embroidered Habs crest on the breast in the early-1960s, worn for team functions, banquets, and church-going. This garment, worn by a scout in the organization, is in excellent condition with no holes, stains, or tears, with the gorgeous blue, white, and red embroidered crest displaying stick, puck, and "CHC" also in wonderful condition. An "Anthony Guinta" tag is sewn in the collar, and on the inside pocket is a sewn "Tony the Tailor" tag. Warning - don't wear this when your wife or girlfriend is around. The girls will be all over you. In the inside jacket pocket can be found a sewn tag reading "Tony the Tailor, Montreal, Tailored Especially For R. Faubert, Sep 1963" with a number included. Roy Faubert was a scout in the Habs organization at this time. From armpit to armpit, this jacket measures approximately 21" across.
