Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2013

It goes without saying that Jean Beliveau was one of the greatest ever, both on and off the ice, and in the early to mid-1960s he waved wands including this CCM Custom Pro as he captained his club through powerhouse years which included Stanley Cup wins in 1964-65 and 65-66, two of ten Cups for the great man. With Le Gros Bill's classic white over black tape covering the knob and original black tape on the blade, the stick features "Beliveau 4" stamped high on the shaft, along with "McNiece's" the iconic sporting goods store from the era and which was located at the Montreal Forum. The tip of the blade shows some light fine age cracks and a couple of small chips with black marks scattered on the rest of the stick but mainly located on the lower shaft and blade. An awesome game-used stick from the legendary captain.
