Hall-of-Famer Patrick Roy was recognized by the NHL's general managers as the league's top goalie three times with the Montreal Canadiens in the late-1980s and early-1990s. St. Patrick led the league with a 2.47 goals-against-average and .908 save percentage when he won his first Vezina Trophy in 1988-89, going 33-5-6 with three shutouts, including a 25-0-4 mark at the Forum as he went undefeated at home! Roy won again the following season and then claimed the Vezina for the third time in four years in 1991-92 when he led the league with five shutouts, a 2.36 GAA and .914 save percentage.. Made at Roy's request for display purposes by Boffey, this spectacular replica stands 13" tall. It is similar in every detail to the ones he received back in the day, this one with a special plaque on the base that displays Patrick's name along with "Montreal Canadiens" and the three years he won the trophy. The "Fond d'etudes des Remparts de Quebec" will receive a portion of the proceeds of the sale of this special trophy that comes with Patrick Roy's signed LOA who also apposed his signature on the bottom of the trophy's base. [red] Addendum; Also included is an 8" x 10" signed photo of Patrick Roy with seven of his trophies offered in the auction including this one.[/red]
