Pair of Hockey News plaques was presented to Patrick Roy as a member of the publication's
1989-90 All-Star Team and "Goalie of the Year". St. Patrick led the NHL with 31 wins and claimed both his second straight nomination to the NHL's First All-Star Team and Vezina Trophy. Roy's portrait picture in his Canadiens uniform is displayed on a silver-colored plaque on the "Goalie of the Year" plaque. "Presented to Patrick Roy" reads The Hockey News 1989-90 All-Star Team plaque with the names of Roy and fellow HOFers Bourque, Coffey, Messier, Hull and Robitaille listed on the gold-colored plaque. Both wood plaques measure 9" x 12". Part of the proceeds of the sale of this item will go towards the "Fond D'etudes des Remparts de Quebec". Comes with with Patrick Roy's signed LOA. Roy’s full name appears below his picture on the Goalie of the Year plaque along with the team’s name and season.
There are light scratches on Lucite surface that covers the metal portion on both plaques. The 1989-90 All-Star Team plaque has stains between the Lucite and the gold-colored metal plaque that do not diminish its display, with the darkest stain portions in the bottom right corner.
